Wednesday 14th December 2011 was the first dry day following 15 days of rain – one day short of the station record. During this spell, 47.6 millimeters of rain fell.

The record for the most consecutive rainy days was set between February 2nd 2010 and February 17th 2010. During this period, only 16.8 millimeters of rain were recorded.

So far in 2011, we have seen 397.8 millimeters of rain, well down on last year’s total of 543.4 millimeters at this time.
